Originally founded in January 2008 by young people in Leamington
looking for performance opportunity, the group enjoyed such success
with their first two productions (Citizenship by Mark
Ravenhill and Chatroom by Enda Walsh, performed at the
Loft Theatre and at Kingsley School in the spring and summer of 2008),
that it was invited to become an integral part of the Loft Theatre
Company’s wide-ranging artistic activities.
Subsequent performances have included Close Encounters of the
Kebab Shop Kind (an anthology) and Going Out With a
Bang (a tribute to Ken Campbell) – short entertainments
performed as Loft Extras in the Douglas Ford Studio following shows in
the main house.
In March 2009 they presented a full-length evening in the studio
comprising a double bill of one-act plays
(Burn and
Sparkleshark).

main house Loft Theatre Company productions.
Information about forthcoming shows can be found in the news pages of
this site, in the programme and on flyers around the theatre.
If you wish to find out more about the group’s activities or
