It’s not the book and it’s not the film. This inventive,
funny, ironic and very theatrical piece is an outrageously
self-conscious tongue-in-cheek spoof on both the famous John Buchan
1915 thriller novel and Alfred Hitchcock’s celebrated 1935 movie
adaptation. The whole world of mysterious and sinister foreigners,
express steam trains, heroes with lots of derring-do, unbelievably
daring escapes and fighter plane pursuits in the Scottish Highlands is
recreated on stage in front of you by just four actors and the
imaginative use of theatrical technique, props, lighting, effects...
and, of course, your imagination.
