In Made in Spain by Tony Grounds, four young women in
1980s Yuppie London confront the new dilemmas presented by female
independence. They gather for dinner to await their husbands but end
up single and penniless in Spain. Join them on their journey of
discovery from caricatures to being real strong women.
Chris O’Connell’s Car depicts brutal young
men who chase the adrenaline rush of car theft and violence. A social
worker challenges one to face the man he believed he had killed. Raw,
frantic and razor sharp, Car gives us a provocative and
uncompromising take on the relationship between criminal and victim.
