Dry Rot is a classic Whitehall farce: fast, furious and
funny. It tells the tale of a bookie and his not-quite-straight
runners who are hiding a racehorse in the cellar of The Bull and Cow,
a country inn near Cheltenham newly bought by a retired Indian Army
Colonel and his wife.
The bookie has a cunning get-rich-quick plan involving the said horse.
The consequences involve mistaken identity, comic chases, trouser
dropping, romance and confusion... not to mention dry rot on the
stairs.
This timeless farce is great entertainment for people of all ages.
