In February 2009, the Loft Theatre Company will be presenting
two award-winning black comedies by Martin McDonagh (writer/director
of the hit film In Bruges) in an exciting and

The Beauty Queen of Leenane won the Critics’ Circle
award for Most Promising Playwright in 1996, and was nominated for the
Tony Award for Best Play in 1998. The Pillowman was also
nominated for a Tony and won the Laurence Olivier award for Best New
Play in 2004.
The shows play in repertoire 16–28 February, and special ticket
