To help theatre members keep up to date with events,
we have created an email group with Yahoo.com.
This service is provided free of charge because each message sent to
the group carries a small and inoffensive piece of advertising.
An email group does two very useful things: one, it keeps a directory
of members' email addresses which only other members may access; two,
it acts as a bulletin board so that messages sent to the group are
passed on to everyone in it.
This is better than the ordinary way of keeping long lists of
addresses for a number of reasons. If you want to be in the group, you
can easily join it. If you do not want to be in the group,
you can easily leave it. You will never be accidentally left off the
list nor put on it. Once you are in the group you can decide whether
you want to receive all the group's emails individually, receive all
the messages in one single email each day, or receive none of them at
all. You can also read the messages at the group website.
The email group has many extra services. For more information, look at
the Yahoo website - http://help.yahoo.com/help/groups/ - or subscribe by
entering your email address in the box below.
If you have any problems or queries regarding this list, please direct
them to AlexComer@loft-theatre.co.uk.
