Make a contribution!

If you have enjoyed Loft shows, have been an active member of the theatre or are currently involved in any Loft activities, please share your news, views, memories and photographs with us by contacting the webmaster, Phil Reynolds. (NB Before emailing, please check to see if your enquiry is covered below.)

Please also contact Phil if you have any comments or suggestions to make regarding this website, or have had any problems using it; or if you have a general enquiry not covered by one of the categories below. Please note, however, that the webmaster (like all Loft Theatre personnel) is a volunteer and cannot guarantee to answer your query promptly, or indeed at all.

Specific issues

Membership

Please direct all membership enquiries to membership@loft-theatre.co.uk.
(NB Please do not use this address for general enquiries.)

Management

For comments or enquiries concerning Loft Theatre Company management issues, including the move to the new theatre and our policy regarding children in performance, please contact the Chairman, Michael Rayns, by phone on 07763 974264, or via email to chairman@loft-theatre.co.uk.

Artistic

For all issues concerning Loft artistic direction, policy and programming, please contact the Executive Artistic Director, Gus MacDonald, by phone on 07885 546442, or via email to ad@loft-theatre.co.uk.

Theatre hire

Due to the tight scheduling of our own programme of productions, and the difficulties of providing technical and FOH support, the Loft Theatre is not generally available for outside lets. Exceptions have been made in very rare instances where hire is both feasible and beneficial to the Theatre. If you wish to speak to us about a proposed hiring of any part of the Loft Theatre, please contact the Chairman, Michael Rayns, in the first instance (see contact details above).

New writers

Our one-act play writing competition is now closed and the winner(s) will be announced shortly.

We frequently receive requests from writers to read and give feedback on their scripts. The Loft Theatre Company does not offer such a service. You can send a printed copy of the script, at your own risk, for the attention of the Executive Artistic Director at the theatre (see postal address at foot of page) or via email to ad@loft-theatre.co.uk. There is no undertaking to return posted manuscripts, and no guarantee that your script will be read nor any undertaking regarding timescales. If we wish to pursue interest we will contact you.

Work experience

The Loft Theatre is a non-professional organisation and does not have the ability to offer work experience placements.
