Theatre hireDue to the tight scheduling of our own programme of productions, and the difficulties of providing technical and FOH support, the Loft Theatre is not generally available for outside lets. Exceptions have been made in very rare instances where hire is both feasible and beneficial to the Theatre. If you wish to speak to us about a proposed hiring of any part of the Loft Theatre, please contact the Chairman, Michael Rayns, in the first instance (see contact details above). New writersOur one-act play writing competition is now closed and the winner(s) will be announced shortly. We frequently receive requests from writers to read and give feedback on their scripts. The Loft Theatre Company does not offer such a service. You can send a printed copy of the script, at your own risk, for the attention of the Executive Artistic Director at the theatre (see postal address at foot of page) or via email to ad@loft-theatre.co.uk. There is no undertaking to return posted manuscripts, and no guarantee that your script will be read nor any undertaking regarding timescales. If we wish to pursue interest we will contact you.
